Equalization Tank: Balances flow and pollution load. Neutralization Tank: Adjusts wastewater pH. Coagulation: Chemicals destabilize fine/colloidal particles. Flocculation: Small particles combine into larger flocs. Primary Clarifier: Flocs and solids settle as sludge. Aeration Tank: Microorganisms consume biodegradable organic matter and reduce BOD. Secondary Clarifier: Separates biological sludge from treated water. PSF: Removes remaining suspended particles. ACF: Provides additional polishing for certain organic compounds, colour and odour.
